Hyatt Lost Pines

We have not been on a vacation in a long time. Jason and I decided to take a short trip to Austin to The Hyatt Lost Pines. It was amazing!!! We got there pretty early on Saturday and took advantage of the kiddie pool, sand, and lazy river. I felt like we were away at a beach but receiving wonderful perks like waiters to take our order and get us anything we needed. Sophia loved the water (maybe becoming a fish like mom) but disliked the sand. We tried toys and different ways to show her how fun sand was but nothing worked. We decided to find some tubes and head over to the lazy river. Sophia loved it! We found a tube with a closed bottom, she kicked her legs out layed down, put her hat over her eyes and relaxed. My kind of girl! I'm sad I didn't get a picture of this but I didn't have a water proof camera. After about 2 hours we went back to the room for nap time and then went back to the pool in the afternoon. We then cleaned up and went to dinner. The great thing about Lost Pines is all the activities they have. We got a hayride drawn by tractor, roasted marshmellows, watching movies out on the lawn on a big screen, played on the playground, and saw a Longhorn, roadrunner, birds, and cows. I can't even explain how amazing it was. This is definatly a place we will visit again in the future.

We've arrived

We were trying to warm Sophia up to the horse behind them.
The kids could sit on the horse and take a pic. Sophia was not having it.
