Today was our first day of school. Sophia had been talking about it all weekend and how she was going to play with her friends and tell her teacher when she needed to potty. On the way to school she started to say don't want to go to school. Jason and I talked about how much fun school was going to be. We told her she was going to see her friends, sing, play outside, do crafts and do gymnastics. This calmed her a little. Once we arrived she was hesitant but we told her we would be back. She did great. I hid and peeked in on her a little while later. She was playing and having a good time. I was really hesitant about her and potty training. She's been training for about 2 weeks with no accidents but again being the shy kid I thought she may not tell the teacher. When we came back to pick her up, her teachers said she did amazing and didn't go potty in her pants once. I was so proud of her. She saw us and looked happy but when I didn't immediately open the door because I was talking to her teacher her smile turned upside down and she started whailing. I scooped her up and told her it was okay. She cried the whole way out of the school. Because this is Sophia's second day, a lot of the teachers know her. They were very surprised that she was crying cause she had a great day. It probably looked like she was having a fit to go home. It took her a while to calm down. I think she was overwhelmed today but it will get better. Lets see how Thursday goes. On another note we went to see the doctor today. Olivia is coming along great. We are 36 weeks which means we will have another little one in the house in a month or so. I'm nervous about going from 1-2 kids but I know it will work out.
I told her to say cheese
On our way to class
This is the "please don't leave me" face.
