Jake was our Elf who arrived on December 1. Sophia likes Jake and the Neverland Pirates and that is where our Elf got his name. We watched the TV show "Elf on the Shelf" so Sophia could see what Jake was all about. She loved the show so much she wanted to watch it repeatedly. She loved Chippy the Elf from the show and we often heard "we don't touch Chippy, we don't touch Jake". Jake did not end up being a messenger to Santa he just loved to come and do elf things. Sophia didn't always remember to look for him in the morning probably because Jake stay3e in the same place sometimes. That elf just got a little lazy. Poor Jake he was just busy probably juggling 2 kids.... Anyhow Sophia enjoyed him and we often heard her say "Jaaaaakkeeee" (in the what are you doing voice). She had a great time and so did Jake! Hopefully Jake won't be so lazy next year, we will have a talk with him. Until then here are some pics from this year

I believe this is the morning Jake arrived. He brought Sophia
a breakfast bar and her favorite, Orange Juice.
We all woke one day to find Jake, Buzz, Woody, Jesse
and Elsa having a snow ball fight. Sophia loved it and loved to eat the
snowballs as well.
Jake took advantage of Sophia's house shoes
and drove it down the banister.
And of course Jake drew on Sophia's picture. She
thought this was hilarious.
