Lets Rodeo San Antonio!

Jason and I took the girls to San Antonio last weekend. We had a free night stay at the Hyatt that we have been meaning to use so we thought this would be the perfect weekend. There is something about hotel rooms (no matter where) that makes you feel like you are on vacation. On Thursday night Olivia had gotten sick with a bug and threw up all night. We didn't think we would make it to the Rodeo in the morning but Olivia woke up in the best spirits. We grabbed all our things and headed out. We mainly stayed in the carnival area and Sophia had a blast. I always feel bad for Olivia because she is still too young to ride or play any games but she is always a trooper and rolls with it. We stayed about 4 hours and Sophia rode every ride and we ate a late lunch there. We didn't end up getting anything to crazy because Olivia had been sick the night before. It started to get extremely hot and the girls were tired so we headed to the hotel on the river walk. We all bathed and tried to put the girls down for a nap but that didn't work out. We ended up grabbing dinner and walking around down town. We love this place but it is such a touristy spot that is very hard to get around, especially with a stroller. We made the best of it and then let the girls run around in the hotel. They raced from one side to the other and had a blast. We went back to the room and all fell asleep. The next morning we all grabbed breakfast at the hotel restaurant and then took another walk around downtown. We headed home around noon and took a long nap! It was a short but fun mini vacay and I'm glad we get to take the kids out and about.

Sophia even played her first game ever
and won a prize. She was excited.

This is the line we waited in for
Sophia to ride the pony. Sophia has
always been scared so we were hesitant.

She did awesome. She didn't cry and
wanted to ride again. This girl surprises me
everytime.
