Bike Parade

Kids Kare has a bike parade for all their outgoing (4-5 yr old) Pre K kids. Its so cute because all the parents come to cheer on their kids and all the 2yr and up classes come out to cheer on the kids as well. It was so cute to see Sophia in the parade and Olivia cheering her on at the sidelines. This is one of the last events for the 4 and 5 year olds. I am so grateful that I was able to sneak away from work to see this. It may be my favorite event. They line all the kids up and call each of their names as they ride in front of the crowd. Sophia loves her friends and it was so cute to see her clapping and cheering her buddies on when their names were called. She was the last kid called because her name starts with and "S" but she got the biggest cheers. I may have shed a tear or two. After the last name was called, they let the kids go crazy in the parking lot. The kids rode around and took advantage of showing off their bikes skills. Sophia and her friends rode in a little group and it made my hear happy to see her enjoying herself. I can't believe this is her last year in Pre K. I can't say enough great things about Oakwood. The director and staff have been amazing to us and Im so excited Olivia gets to experience more time here. I know Sophia will miss it but she is so excited about Kinder.
