Sophia has graduated....Pre School! The 4-5 year old classes held their pre school graduation one Thursday morning. We signed O out of class early so she could see her sister graduate. She was so proud of Sophia. The theme for graduation was Hawaiian and it turned out great. All the girls were dressed in their grass skirts with a flower in their hair and leis and the boys wore leis. The classes came out and sang the "Houkilo"?? They also did a song and the kids each used instruments. One by one the kids came forward and said something. Sophia's line was "our teachers have taught us great things". Then the kids were awarded their diplomas and then they grabbed their parents from the audience to teach them the Houkilo dance. Sophia thought this was so fun and she giggled the whole time. I don't have a lot of pics because I was filming but I'm glad I don't have a pic of me doing the Houkilo because I'm sure I looked silly. Anything for my kids :) None of these kids will be going to Sophia's kindergarten and that makes me sad but I know she will make a whole set of new friends. We are so proud of Sophia and can't wait to see what the future holds.
