Its the Most Wonderful Time....

Merry Christmas friends! This is the time of year that families get together and we took advantage. Jason and I had the week off and we tried to pack in as much as we could. This post is way late so its hard to remember what we did but I remember I needed a vacation from my vacation. Our Christmas Day was awesome. Our family came to our house this year, my mother in law cooked and we used plastic everything so clean up was so easy! Okay I just realized I have NO PICS of Christmas! What is wrong with me??? I did find some pics of our Breakfast with Santa at Hyatt Lost Pines. We always stay at Hyatt hotels so I get emails about things they are having. When I saw they were doing a Breakfast with Santa I thought this would be great to start off the Christmas season. The girls had no clue. We packed our bags on a Friday night and headed to Austin. We got to the resort early, they have tons of events for children and it was great to see all the Christmas decorations. Again because we always stay at Hyatt Hotels, we were upgraded to a junior suite....sweet! The girls had plenty of space to run around. The next morning we were up bright and early for breakfast!! The set up was gorgeous and the food was delicious. After all the food we got in line to meet Santa. The best thing about Santa was that he rode in on a Longhorn. Of course in Texas we don't have snow so what better way than to ride in on a Longhorn. Sophia asked for a Frozen bike and Olivia just stared at Santa wondering who he was. After meeting the cute Santa with rosey cheeks we moved on to the activities. They had a bounce house and an arts and crafts station set up. The girls wrote a Christmas list, decorated stockings and a Christmas Tree. If you ever decide to have breakfast with Santa, I highly recommend Hyatt Lost Pines. I've heard other breakfast with Santa give you an orange or apple and juice but they went all out. We were able to ride a kiddie train, sit and take pictures on a bull, have a movie night with the movie Frozen and play games in the play room. We will most def be going back next Christmas.
